Why this Project ? I selected this project because It is an app whose heart lies on recycling and fighting waste but also it has been improved by an API tool. This combination, I think, sums up well every aspect that needed to be studied during this assignment !

Persona:
A construction services company who has a big construction site and a lot of regulations to follow when it comes to waste management. They are a big company, they do not have the technology to handle this waste management. They, therefore, call for help at Recycling Lives and their new API to handle that part of the project that can be quite cumbersome.

General Overview:
Using the API has standardised reporting process and enabled live reporting on their online portal and allows clients to streamline their reporting processes, keeping data accurate and simplifying the generation of reports for clients. It allows to automate the process of transfering data from the online portal into a csv format.
Technical overview:
The API's key features are the following:
Track the purchase and use of certified and non-certified materials ;
Manage sourcing data for material types including timber, brick and block, structural steel, plasterboard and insulation, and many more ;
